Vegan Hot Chocolate to Restore Your Energy Levels
Rich and velvety, this vegan hot chocolate is a great cure for afternoon laziness and contains macs powder for a balanced energy production and happy hormones.

- 1/2 bar 70g organic dairy free chocolate, chopped
- 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
- 2 tsp pure maple syrup
- 1/2 cup full fat coconut milk
- 2 cups almond milk
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tsp maca powder
- Pinch sea salt
- Chocolate flakes to garnish
In a medium sauce pan heat the coconut milk, then add the chocolate and let melt over low heat, whisking frequently.
Add the raw cacao powder, chia seeds and almond milk, mix and simmer for 5 minutes over low heat.
Transfer into the blender, add maca powder and salt, and pulse two or three times, to obtain a smooth mixture.
Divide into serving mugs, top with chocolate flakes and serve warm.
