Roasted Chickpeas (That Are Actually Crisp)
If you want your roasted chickpeas to be real crispy, you've come in the right place. Made with oil and salt only, and then flavored up upon your preferences, these healthy roasted chickpeas make the best filling, protein-packed snack.
- 2 cans cooked chickpeas drained and rinsed patted dry
- 2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Preheat the oven to 175 C/350F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, add the chickpeas, salt red chilli flakes and olive oil, and toss to coat evenly.
Roast for 30 minutes, then remove and add the spices.
Leave in the baking sheet until they cool.
Serve as a snack, or add into salads, soups and Buddha bowls for texture.
