It’s been quite a while since I last wrote on my blog, and I missed it a lot! My schedule was so busy lately, photographing for my clients and shooting for a new book, that I didn’t realize that summer is already here. I love writing and capturing the images of my day to day life, with all the small and lovely details – fresh ingredients from the farmers’ market, a quick summer rain, our cozy dinner in two, a healthy dessert or fresh flowers – and I don’t like to stay away from the blog for so long.
When I found the last issue of Artful Blogging magazine in my mailbox it was like a wake up call. A reminder of the things I really love. 
Seeing my work in print, next to the wonderful photographs of some of my favorite bloggers, was inspiring and made me feel proud and honored.

Along with some of my favorite recipes and photographs from the blog, you can read my point of view about the photography and the food blogging adapted to the social media requests. The fact that I started photographing food when the styling and mood were in focus left its mark on my photography. The art of my images doesn’t stay in evoking a certain memory or mood, but more in starting a story, one that each of my viewers will fill in with its own life experience.

This give away is a wonderful idea. I just looked at the Shoppe website and there are really clever things there. I think I would like to buy the Wire Forms. I would put my collection of traditional Korean clothing on them and display them in my house. I would enjoy that so much, it would bring a bit of Korea to me every day.
